A hard look at the business benefits of employee wellbeing will be on the agenda when a trio of experts will take a look at how local employers can take their wellbeing plans to the next level.
Wellbeing consultant Carola Becker, Mindfulness coach Jocelyn Wood and 4 Day Week expert Martyn King have teamed up to offer forward-thinking employers the chance to find out how they can get a greater return on investment from their wellbeing initiatives.
Kicking off with a nutritious breakfast - co designed by Carola and City College and prepared by their students - and ending with a take away energy boost, attendees will hear presentations, experience a mindfulness practice firsthand, ask questions, and network with other leading employers on the following topics:
7th March 2024
8.00 to 10.00 am
Carola Becker - How to align business goals with employee needs to ensure the success of your wellbeing programme.
Jocelyn Wood - How mindfulness brings sharper thinking and improved performance into your business.
Martyn King - The 4 Day Week and why employers need flexible models to get better results.
Jointly commenting on the event, Carola, Jocelyn and Martyn explained:
“Wellness in the workplace is entering a new phase for employers who have long recognised the importance of looking after their people. Whilst wellness is now firmly recognised by organisations, many are looking to go further to find out how wellness can go beyond the fluffy feelgood stuff into tangible improvements in staff retention, development and performance. It's no longer just about avoiding poor mental health but more about creating an environment where employees can thrive and actively push the business forward."
They continued:
“With a shared passion, knowledge and track record in getting results for organisations, we have come together to take the conversation further, share real data and insights with the added benefit of getting off to a flying start to the day with a nutritious breakfast prepared by City College students!”
Further information and ticket purchasing for the event on Thursday 8th February 2024 at City College’s PL1 Restaurant is available here [insert Eventbrite link].
